The Bosch models listed above were manufactured between 1999 - 2005. Other than those listed above, no other Bosch models are affected by this voluntary recall and required repair.

The dishwashers that are part of this recall can be identified by matching the model number and the serial number (begins with "FD") found in the safety notice. The model and serial numbers can be found inside the dishwasher door panel on the upper right side.

There is a possibility that a fire could break out in the control panel. If unattended, the fire could potentially spread beyond the dishwasher. Upon learning of the potential problem with certain models of dishwashers manufactured between 1999-2005, we notified the appropriate federal authorities at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and we are working in full cooperation with the agency. We want our customers to be safe so we volunteered to recall the affected models and quickly make necessary repairs.

Approximately 465,000 Bosch dishwashers sold in the United States. Only certain Bosch models are part of this recall, and they are listed above and in the safety notice.

The dishwashers were manufactured in our facility in North Carolina.
